Olympics’ most faithful fan dies

Japanese fan Naotoshi Yamada died aged 92. He had been present at all Summer Olympic Games since 1964. IOC President Thomas Bach expressed regret about Naotoshi Yamada death: “I was very sad to hear the news about Naotoshi Yamada’s death. He was a real “super fan”. I will miss him in Tokyo next near”, IOC press office informed. 

Naotoshi Yamada considered the 32nd Summer Olympic Games the main event of his life. He died 494 days before the Olympics.
The Tokyo 2020 Olympics will be held from July 24 to August 9.
