Skiers to participate in the Scandinavian Cup

Armenian skiers will participate in the Scandinavian Cup to be held in Finland. The Scandinavian Cup is considered one of the tournaments of the regional cup under the patronage of the International Skiing Federation.

This year Armenia is going to the competition with 3 athletes: Sergey Mikaelyan, Mikael Mikaelyan and Mariam Mikaelyan. The team is led by Arthur Mikaelyan.

“The Scandinavian Cup gives opportunity to participant countries to join in with the maximum number of athletes which is impossible at the World Championship or at the Cup rounds” said Skiing Federation Secretary General, Gagik Sargsyan to ANOC. The tournament will be held on December 11-13. Armenia takes part in the Scantinavian Cup for the third time.
