The second round games were played at the European Individual Chess Championship.
Armenia’s Hrant Melkumyan drew the game with Czech Jiri Stocek. Robert Hovhannisyan celebrated his second victory this time prevailing over Eldar Gazanov. Manuel Petrosyan won Hovhannes Gabuzyan. Arman Pashikyan shared the point with Swiss Noel Studer. Zaven Andriasyan defeated Italy’s Luca Moroni. Samvel Ter-Sahakyan gained advantage with black pieces over Turk Deniz Dogan and Gabriel Sargsyan lost.
The third round will take place on May 14.
