The host cities of the 2016 FIBA European Championships were announced

FIBA has announced the names of cities that will host the 2016 European Championships.

Armenia’s men’s team will leave for Moldova in summer of 2016 where the European Championship for Small Countries will be held. The matches will be played in the capital city of Chisinau. The date is still being determined.
The U20 European Championship Men Division B, where Armenia also will come out, will be held in Halkida, Greece from July 15 to 24.

Armenia’s U16 team will leave for Cyprus to the European Championship Division C in July 2016. The matches will take place in Nicosia and Limassol. The date is still being determined.
Armenia’s U18 women’s team will travel to Georgia, Tbilisi in July 2016 where the European Championship Division C will be held. The date is still being determined.
The draw of the European Championships will take place on January 22, 2016.
