The silver medalist of the London Olympics, 2014 world champion Arsen Julfalakyan conquered gold at the 34th Vehbi Emre & Hamit Kaplan tournament.
The Armenian wrestler overcame 4 fights. Before reaching the finals Julfalakyan had gained advantage (8:0, 4:0 and 3:0) over his opponents. In the finals, Julfalakyan’s opponent was Georgia’s Minda Tsulukidze whom the Armenian wrestler won 3:0 and captured the gold medal.
Armenia wrestling team member Aram Julfalakyan (66kg) lost the first round 2:4 to Azerbaijan’s Rovshan Tagiyev.
