Armenia will have one representative, skier Spartak Voskanyan, at the 3rd Winter Youth Olympic Games to be held in Swiss Lausanne.
The 16-year old athlete will perform at alpine skiing and 10m classic cross-country skiing.
Voskanyan will leave for Lausanne with coach Sergey Mikaelyan.
The Winter Youth Olympic Games will be held from 9-22 January, 2020, and 1880 athletes aged 15-18 will join them from more than 70 countries. All tickets of the Lausanne 2020 Opening Ceremony were sold out on the first day of the sale. The entrance of all sports events and medal award ceremonies of the Winter Youth Olympic Games will be free. The organizers have also decided to organize a disco in the center of Lausanne instead of having a closing ceremony.
