Thomas Bach, the president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) visited Dakar, the capital of Senegal that will host the Summer Youth Olympic Games in 2022.
Thomas Bach along with the members of the IOC Coordination Commission visited the venues where the competition will be held. The IOC president also attended demonstrations of taekwondo, fencing and karate after which he visited the IOC’s new headquarters in Senegal.
Senegal will be the first African country to host the Olympic Games.
The tournament which was being held from May 8 to 10 was attended by 180 wrestlers
