The tickets will be available at affordable prices – an average of JPY 2,500. This price will also be available as part of a schools programme targeting over one million students across Japan.

However, adding together the results of both lotteries an individual won’t be able to purchase more than two tickets for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, four tickets for sessions which include medal events and six tickets for all other sessions.
