On 15 August 2019, the Boxing Federation of the Republic of Armenia filed a Statement of Appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport against the National Olympic Committee of Armenia with respect to the decision rendered by the General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia (To deprive the BFA of the ANOC membership). On 21 August the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) initiated an appeals arbitration procedure.
On 26 September 2019, the CAS informed the Appellant (BFA) that it still has not received its Appeal Brief and, accordingly, invited the latter to file a proof of timely filing of its Appeal Brief till 3 October
As the Appellant’s deadline to submit a proof of timely filing of the Appeal Brief expired on 3 October the court withdrew the appeal considering that no Appeal Brief has been filed, no Answers have been filed, no Panel has been constituted.
On these grounds the CAS pronounces that the procedure Boxing Federation of the Republic of Armenia v. National Olympic Committee of Armenia is terminated.
