Yerevan’s Pyunik hosted Macedonian Shkupi in Gyumri in the first match of the first qualifying round of the Europa League.
On the 4th minute Erik Vardanyan scoring an accurate penalty kick opened the match score.
During the match Armenia’s runner-up was losing 1:3 but on the last minutes of the match thanks to the goals scored by Maksim Zhestokov and Edgar Manucharyan Aleksandr Tarkhanov’s footballers managed to restore the difference of the score.
Everything will be determined in the second leg which will take place in Skopje on July 18.
