Armenia’s U20 Basketball Team has started preparing for the European Championship Division B in Yerevan which is set to be in Greece in July.
The Belgian coach, Thibaut Petit, has invited 12 players to take part in the training camp.
The team is comprised of the following players – Richard Elmoyan (plays in the USA), Gabriel Atchemyan, Karen Chivichyan, Mathew Madoyan, Krikor Kurdoghlyan, Aram Arslanyan, Edgar Babayan (Russia), Kirill Harutyunyan, Rafik Uzunyan as well as Mihran Nerses from Syria. Peter Stepanyantc and Steven Enoch (the only foreign player) will join the team later.
English specialist Chris Mayes assists Thibaut Petit with the team. The youth team will finish the training camp on 13th July and leave for Greece where the European Championship will kick off on 15th July.
