Armenian women’s boxing team member Anush Grigoryan has qualified for the 1/8 finals of the World Championships.
At the 2016 AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships ongoing in Astana, Kazakhstan, Armenia’s Anush Grigoryan (51kg) won Japan’s Vada Madoka and qualified for the 1/8 finals. If Anush reaches the semifinals she will conquer an Olympic qualification.
On the eve Grigoryan had won Ukraine’s Tetyana Kob.
