Wrestler Roman Amoyan lost in the first bout and missed the opportunity to qualify for the Olympics

The third Wrestling Olympic Qualifier has kicked off in Istanbul, Turkey.

Member of the Armenian Greco-Roman wrestling team, European silver medalist Roman Amoyan (59kg) lost 4:4 to Turk Rahman Bilichu in the first round. In this tournament only finalists qualify for the Olympics.
Freestyle wrestlers will fight for qualifications, too on May 8.
