Boxer Hovhannes Bachkov started off the tournament with victory

The European Olympic Qualifier kicked off on April 9 is underway in Samsun, Turkey.

In the first fight, Hovhannes Bachkov (64kg) gained advantage over Belgium’s Antuan Vanachere. His next rival will be Italy’s Viccenco Areccia. The bout is set for April 11.

Another representative of Armenia Rafael Simonyan (91kg) was knocked out in the first bout by Bulgaria’s Cristian Dimitrov.

On the eve Anush Grigoryan (51kg) had started the tournament with victory.
