Armenia Greco-Roman wrestling team finished second in the team event of the European Championship.
At the European Championship held in Riga Armenia's Greco-Roman wrestling team scored 42 points and placed second. Russia placed first with 48 points and Azerbaijan took the last place of the top 3.
Artur Aleksanyan and Roman Amoyan became silver medalists, Varsham Boranyan was crowned champion and Karapet Chalyan conquered bronze.

The first competition day was started by freestyle wrestlers.
Lilith Mkrtchyan and Anna Sargsyan suffered defeats.
The championship consists of 9 rounds and will come to an end on June 1
Artur Hovhannisyan at 52 kg and Hovhannes Bachkov at 63 kg also started their performances with victories.
