The Armenia team joined the World Youth Chess Championships (U14, 16 and 18) in Mumbai, India, with 8 chess players and won 2 medals.
Shant Sargsyan who competed in the U18 Championship scored 8.5 points out of 11 and took the second position.
In the same group Artur Davtyan gained 8 points and deserved a bronze medal.
