The construction of the Student Village in Minsk is coming to an end. The village will host the delegations of the National Olympic Committees arrived in the capital of Belarus for the 2nd European Games from June 21-30.
The dormitory of the Belarusian State University consists of nine buildings and is ready to host about 9800 participants. The dormitory has been rebuilt for the European Games. All the venues are located near the dormitory.
Recently, Belarus President Alexandr Lukashenko visited the Student Village and highly appreciated the preparedness of the complex. About 700 volunteers will work in the dormitory during the European Games. The first delegations are expected to arrive in Minsk on June 15.
Let us recall, over 4000 athletes in 21 sports will take part in the European Games.
