Grenke Сhess Сlassic: Levon Aronyan and Arkadij Naiditsch end in a tie

Leader of the Armenia chess team Levon Aronyan shared the point with Azerbaijani Arkadij Naiditsch with white pieces at the Grenke Сhess Сlassic kicked off in Germany. The game ended on the 41st move.

World current champion Norwegian Magnus Garlsen defeated with black pieces 14-year-old Vincent Keymer (Germany) while in Peter Svidler (Russia) vs Fabiano Caruana (USA),  Maxime Vachiev-Lagrave (France) vs Viswanathan Anand (India), Georg Meier (Germany) vs Francisco Vallejo (Spain) games there was no winner.

In round 2 of April 2 Levon Aronyan’s opponent will be Georg Meier.

Let us recall Levon Aronyan had become the winner of Grenke Сhess Сlassic in 2017.
