Armenia team fails in Ekaterinburg

The Armenian representatives failed at the Grand Slam judo international tournament held in Russia’s Ekaterinburg.

Arsen Ghazaryan at 73 kg lost the first fight to Moldova’s Victor Sterpu and dropped out of the competition. Armenia had 2 representatives at 100 kg, Mikhail Minchin and Arsen Khanjyan, who after starting with a victory were defeated in the 1/8 finals and left the struggle. Russia’s representative Armen Adamyan won the champion title in that weight class.
