Armenia’s representatives Rafik Harutyunyan (81 kg) and Karen Avagyan (89 kg) have started the struggle at the Junior World Championships underway Fiji.

Rafik Harutyunyan registered a total of 334 kg (147+187) and placed 6th.

Karen Avagyan lifted 341 kg (155+186) in total. Avagyan won a small bronze medal in the snatch.

Earlier Armenia’s first representative Armen Grigoryan (73 kg)nbhad come 6th in the Junior World Championships.

Varazdat Lalayan (+109 kg) and Arpine Dalalyan (+87 kg) of the Armenia weightlifting junior team will also perform at the World Championships.
