A month before the 2nd European Games which will be held in Minsk, Belarus from June 21-30 the organizers have revealed the games’ medals.
It takes 20 hours to produce one medal and its diameter is 9,5 centimeters. The choice is symbolic as 9, 5 million people live in Belarus. The medals also have a wooden cover.
A total of 1084 medals have been produced – 329 gold, 329 silver and 426 bronze medals.
The European Games will bring together over 4000 athletes in 21 sports.
