Irina Rodnina Figure Skating School was renamed Yerevan Figure Skating and Hokey Sports School. The decision was made at the session of the Yerevan City Council.

The Yerevan City Council approved the decision to rename the school with 52 in favor, 0 against and 5 abstentions.

The Figure Skating School was opened in 2015 and was named after the three-time figure skating Olympic champion.
