Unsuccessful series of Armenia women’s team continue at World Championship

After a day off at the Women’s World Team Chess Championship the games of the 6th round were held on March 11. Armenia’s team lost to Ukraine 1.5:2.5, suffering the 5th loss in a row. Elina Danielyan, Anna Sargsyan and Maria Gevorgyan ended the games in a draw while Lilith Mkrtchyan playing on the second board lost. After Round 6 Armenia team has 2 points and shares the 8-9th position with Hungary. On March 12 the Armenian chess players will compete with Hungary team in the upcoming 7th round.
