On November 26-27 the Iranian capital, Tehran will host the World Freestyle Wrestling Clubs Championship where Armenia will be represented by “Tashir” club.

The following wrestlers will leave for Tehran: Garnik Mnatcakanyan (57kg), Ervand Tadevosyan (61kg), Valodya Frangulyan (65kg), Valter Margaryan (70kg), Varuzhan Kajoyan (74kg), Vahe Tamrazyan (86kg), Edgar Yenokyan (97kg) and Andranik Galstayn (125kg). The team is led by Armenia’s freestyle wrestling team head coach Arayik Baghdasaryan and coach Hovsep Hovsepyan.

The World Clubs Championship prize fund is 100.000$. The winner club will be awarded 50.000$, the second place will take 30.000$ and the third one 20.000$.

The World Greco-Roman Wrestling Clubs Championship will be held on December 14-16 in Tehran and Armenia’s “Dinamo” club will join in it.
