The terrorist attacks in Paris won’t affect the chances of the city to host the 2024 Olympics as stated the IOC president Thomas Bach.

“Terrorism won’t affect the chances of Paris to host the 2024 Olympics. Nobody can say what the world will look like in 2024. The terrorism is not France’s nor Paris’s problem but the whole world’s”, said Bach.

On the evening of November 13, Paris suffered at least six nearly simultaneous attacks which left at least 127 people dead and around 250 wounded.

For hosting the 2024 Olympics bid 5 cities: France (Paris), Germany (Hamburg), Italy (Rome), the USA (Los Angeles), Hungary (Budapest). ANOC press department
