After a long and severe illness on October 4 died Armenian football legend, the Capitan of legendary Ararat-73 captain Hovhannes Zanazanyan.
Zanazanyan was born in 1946. He became the champion of the USSR with "Ararat"(1973), silver medalist (1971), Cup winner (1973, 1975), and Olympic bronze medalist in the Soviet Union national team. In 1971 and 1973 he was among the 33 best players of the USSR.
During his career he had coached the Beirut HMEM, Armenia's youth team, "Banants" and other teams.
