On June 1 the National Olympic Committee of Armenia on the occasion of International Children’s Day organized “Children’s Day through the eyes of the NOC of Armenia” event at the Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet which was attended by ANOC President Gagik Tsarukyan, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Armenia Tian Erlong and famous athletes.

The nice ceremony was opened by a group of dhol playing children which was followed by dance performances. The young hosts presented the story of the creation of the Olympic rings followed by performances about continents. Armenia was represented at the end of the event.

Mane Muradyan, the assistant of the ANOC president, gave a surprise to ANOC President Gagik Tsarukyan and greeted the guests.

The event was organized for children of orphanages, socially vulnerable and Syrian-Armenian families.
