Danielyan and Mkrtchyan have started the Championship with a draw

Today, the first round of the 1/32 final of the women's World Chess Championship has started in Tehran. The tournament  goes on with knock-out system.

Elina Danielyan played with whites with Indian representative Roud Padmini tie-break. Lilit Mkrtchyan also with whites played a draw with Chineese player Ni Shigunia in the first round out of two.

The next meetings will be held on February 12.
